The Skinny Jane 28 Day Challenge is one of the best diets I have tried, hands down! It is so simple and easy to follow, which I think is necessary in order to be successful with any type of weight loss program. When you start to get too complicated, it makes it easier to fall off the “wagon,” as I like to call it. In the past, I have followed other diet plans and lost about 8 – 10 lbs. and then would give up after a couple of weeks. So far, I have successfully completed two rounds of this program and still use this as a guide in meal planning in order to maintain my weight loss, and have lost a total of 26 lbs. and 32 inches. I lost 20 lbs. during the first two months of the program (which was strictly followed, with a cheat meal once every two weeks or so), and lost an additional six pounds in the third month only by somewhat following the meal plan (with a cheat meal a couple times a week). I am 5’5 and my starting weight for this program was 160 lbs.I really liked this diet plan because it laid everything out in black and white for me. The instruction booklet that is provided includes instructions for the diet and how to take the supplements, a weight and inches tracker, grocery lists, a very detailed menu list for each of the four weeks in the diet, recipes, and tips to stay motivated. The food list is so simple and so are the recipes. There is nothing complicated about this diet, which is one of the reasons why I love it so much!I did incorporate a work out plan with this diet to maximize my results. I tried to work out for at least 20 minutes a day, with a minimum of 4-5 days a week. I did a combination of work out videos (various Jillian Michaels DVDs and the Ruthless program) and did a run/walk regime.I took the skinny burn pills religiously throughout the program and never experienced any negative side effects from them. I felt a slight increase in energy and a decrease in appetite. I did take these differently than instructed, however. The instructions say to take two pills in the morning. I found that taking one in the morning, and the other between 3pm – 5pm (around the time when I was about to start my evening workout) really worked best for me. It gave me a slight increase in energy that I needed to work out and also helped me not to feel so HANGRY (angry hungry) after a long day at work.I was really nervous to try the skinny cleanse after reading some of the reviews on Amazon about it keeping some users on the toilet all day. Once I worked up the courage to use it, I was pleasantly surprised that it in no way gave me an upset stomach or had me running to the bathroom all day. I took only one skinny cleanse pill each night during my first round of the 28-day program and it kicked in the next day, usually at the same time each morning, like clock-work. Without getting into too much detail, I never experienced an unpleasant reaction from these pills and highly recommend them if you are looking for a gentle cleanse to help kick start your weight loss journey.The Skinny Blend protein powder is surprisingly delicious! I ordered the chocolate flavor, and every time I used it I felt like I was cheating on my diet. I especially felt like I was cheating when I utilized some of the recipes given in the skinny-map booklet and blended it into a smoothie. It helped me to feel not so “deprived” as I often feel when I am dieting. My husband even enjoyed it and would often “taste test” when I blended the powder with a little bit of peanut butter :) I always blended it with unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk versus real milk to save on calories. I believe having the shake as an afternoon snack really helped to keep me on track and not cheat when I wasn’t able to go home after work. It helped me to avoid temptation of eating bad food or drinking too much alcohol when I was in a social setting, and kept my hunger at bay until I was able to get home to eat the meal that was planned for the day.Overall, I highly recommend this diet to anyone who is looking for an easy to follow, effective, weight loss program. I am so thankful that I found Skinny Jane as it helped me to finally lose the weight I have been trying to lose for years now. I still have a few pounds to go to reach my goal weight, and will be ordering the 8-week plan to help get me there and to help maintain my weight loss. Weight loss does not happen overnight, but if you are looking for a program that will help you see fast results and teach you new eating habits that will help keep the weight off, then I suggest trying Skinny Jane. You won’t regret it!I have been catching up to writing some reviews and one thing I can honestly say is that this is money well worth spent and I will be buying future products from Jane. The review is going to be a long one so pick up some coffee, drop the beer and read away. Nutrition has always been a big impact for me. I am anemic, suffer from a short vein syndrom that I forgot what the word is and I particular don't care much for working out. Getting motivated for me to loose weight or start a diet is like asking a polar bear to eat fruits and vegetables. It just doesn't happen. First, I was very impressed with Janes packaging and her letter was awesome to me in order to get started. I was still pretty skeptical in starting, so I waited until after I had quit my job in order to start the diet. Skinny Jane has taught me how to keep motivated and her products actually work and are really healthy for you unlike the majority of the diet market trend right now! The pills have a reasonable amount of caffeine in them and they have only three ingredients that are easy to pronounce and look up. I have lost twenty pounds so far and I am only on week three! Unfortunately, I had lost the original book that with the packaging so I have switched to a more meatier diet to help with my anemia and control some other issues that I have. However, with that being said, I have learned how to manipulate my diet to farther burn calories. First off, I have pretty much illeminated salt from my diet minus a few treats such as morning stars sausage patties and hamburger meat. I noticed that the boca burgers she suggests weren't really that healthy and since morning star and boca are very similar in salt contents and calorie intakes, i opted in for the more tastier morning stars. I also have purchased more fruit and almonds. I have went from a size 16 to now a size 12 in just a little over two weeks. I am still continuing the diet, but I am starting to include more workout routines. Overall, the diet does truthfully work, the shake mix tastes great and not like that fifty dollar powder crap you buy at the health store that takes like someone pooped in your cup. The most important thing is that even my boyfriend has noticed my weight loss and has actually started watching his diet more. So, since I am the main cook in the house hold, he tends to follow my eating habits. I would say overall these wonder pills, shake mixes and routines are great products and if you have struggled with loosing weight or getting motivated to loose weight this should help you. I have always struggled with weight in my past and this is a big concern since I am getting older now, my family tends to have some pretty big health issues in regards to diabetes and cancer. So getting on the right path for me is really important. These products should at least help you get their. I had to take two intermittent health classes in my college degree program and pretty much what they said about dieting is exactly spot on to what Jane suggests for you to do.I must say I already feel cared for on this journey to weight loss. I am a teacher and mother who has little time in the day and to come home to a package that was a week early and when opened received a personal note from Steve Pickering lifted up my day.So you ask what about the product I will be doing update reviews but to start. The Blender Bottle has a strong lid and really cute it mixes the drink really well. Then comes the shake, I will admit I am very picky but this is a really good shake. The Skinny map is also very useful it has many tips, a Weight loss tracker, a easy grocery list, a simple menu that is easily customized to the healthy protiens you enjoy, as well as recipies.I look forward to this journey to a healthier me.It has been 24 days of the 28 day challenge and I have become a new person! So fulfilling. First the Skinny Burn is amazing! I take two in the morning as my schedual as a teacher and mom is so busy. I have no bad side effects, no jittery feeling nothing but a great appatite surpresant. It holds me off until lunch at 11 and dinner at 6. And so will tell you I was a bad snacker but not any more. I eat my fruit, blueberries frozen which I would have not thought of until reading it in the daily planner or something else healthy.Also the chocolate shake is so good and the shaker gives it a nice froth.Last the skinny Clean helped rid of all the bad things in my body and now replaced with the good stuff.I proudly wear my Skinny Jane shirt and suggest others to try this as program as well.
